Kupwara, May 14 (GNS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din, today said that elaborate arrangements have already been put in place as containment measures in district Kupwara.
The DC during a press conference said that the number of total positive cases has reached to 9499, while as recovered cases are 7615 in the district which is 80.16 percent.
He said the total deaths recorded so for is 122, adding that the case fatality rate is 1.28 percent.
Taking about the contact tracing, the DC said that 102456 contacts were traced so far. He further informed that the number of total positive cases with comorbidity is 241.
Regarding home isolation, Imam Din said that 1504 cases are under home isolation while 87 cases are in DCCC isolation in the district.(GNS)
